Story Time A: “Touched by a Butterfly”

Target Participant: Ages 3-7

Timeframe: 30-45 minutes

Objective:

  • By helping children have self-respect
  • By helping children believe in themselves
  • To let children, know that it is “ok” to make mistakes
  • To let children know they can do anything they put their mind to

Story Time B: “The Goodness Soup” and “Princess Diversity and the Goodness Soup”

Target Participant: Ages 6-11

Timeframe: 30-45 minutes

Objective:

  • To teach children to treat others as one would treat oneself
  • To teach respect for one’s fellow human beings, regardless of color, race, and religion
  • To love all of humanity, without exceptions
  • To build understanding towards other people

Workshop A: The Girl with the Mona Lisa Smile Gets Bullied at School

Target Participant: Ages 7-18

Timeframe: 1 hour

Objective:

  • Showing ways to grow empathy towards others and to stop hate in its tracks by; stopping bullying; promoting compassion and understanding for all people
  • Building the students’ self-esteem and confidence so they can be heroes to themselves and others
  • Making the child emotionally and mentally resilient against hate so they can practice the Golden Rule
  • Showing the child who bullies a chance to rectify their behavior

Workshop B: I Need to Know Myself; The Power of Self Awareness

Target Participant: Ages 6-18

Timeframe: 1 hour

Objective:

  • To help students believe in themselves
  • To give students the boost to improve their weakness and focus on their goals in life
  • Building the students’ self-esteem and confidence so they can be heroes to themselves and others
  • Getting to know oneself

Workshop C: Mastering the Art of the Golden Rule Against School Bullying

Target Participant: Any Adult who is involved in the upbringing of a child, such as the parents, grandparents, teachers, caregivers, administrators, etc.

Timeframe: 1 hour

Objective:

  • Raising empathetically conscious children by bringing the village back 
  • To stop hate in its track by implementing love in a child before hate takes place by educating the parents, caregivers, and educators. 
  • Providing parenting tools that would help nurture instincts like forbearance, fairness, kindness, and forgiveness devoid of racial baggage.
  • Learn about new, effective strategies for controlling bullying at their child’s school
  • Focusing on strategies to help the victim, the bystander, and the bully
  • To help parents raise children who have high self-esteem, confidence, emotionally and mentally resilient against hate and bullying

Workshop D: Being the Role Model My Child Really Needs 

Target Participant: Any Adult who is involved in the upbringing of a child, such as the parents, grandparents, teachers, caregivers, administrators, etc.…

Timeframe: 1 hour

Objective:

  • To help their child to have healthy self-esteem
  • To be more confident and hold themselves in higher regard
  • Inspiring children to live meaningful lives
  • Provide tools to overcome habits that send a wrong message to children

Presentation/Workshop E: Understanding Emotional Intelligence 

Target Participant: Youth & Adults 

Timeframe: 1 hour

Objective:

  • To define emotions and Emotional Intelligence (EI)
  • Help develop personal skills: self-awareness, self-regulation, motivation
  • Social or Interpersonal Skills: empathy, Social Skills
  • To positively reframe our perspective of people and situations in order to operate and adapt more positively
  • To recover from negative experiences with people and situations quicker

Presentations for Muslims or Inter-Faith Groups

Presentation/Workshop F: Reintroduction to Islam 

Target Participant: Youth & Adults 

Timeframe: 1 hour

Objective: 

  • To inspire the Muslim
  • To have a better understanding of Islam
